The Journey Of Our Passion

It all began in 1985, when a group of high school friends, including me Adrian Stanila, visited a glass factory. The following year I started my studies at the most famous vocational school in the city of Turda, Romania, where I obtained my diploma in arts and technology specialising in glassblowing as an artisan glassmaker. Since 1989 I have worked and collaborated with many artists. In 2012, together with my wife and three children, we decided to move to Fergus, Ontario Canada, where I worked in a company with the same profile, which now unfortunately has closed. At that moment, my son Iustin Stanila and I, supported by the entire family, laid the foundation for this small business called Stanila Glassworks. My son is very passionate about glassblowing and he’s been learning and working alongside me for a few years now. Our passion reflects in our pieces as we carefully bring a liquid into a solid form, turning it into a beautiful and vibrant object that you can gift to loved ones or cherish in your home for generations.
